Leah J. Domitrovic

Leah J. Domitrovic is currently the Chief Governance Officer at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Leah has extensive experience advising management and boards of directors on a variety of legal and compliance issues.

Previously, Leah was the Associate Chief Legal Officer at UPMC from August 2007 to June 2011. In this role, they assisted the Chief Legal Officer in managing and overseeing the Corporate Legal, Risk Management and Government Relations Departments of a $9 billion, 50,000-employee vertically integrated global health care enterprise. Leah also advised the Chief Compliance Officer in the compliance function and advised the Corporate Secretary regarding all aspects of board governance, policies, practices and procedures.

During their time at UPMC, Leah was responsible for developing and implementing institution-wide, best-in-class conflict-of-interest (COI) and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) policies, practices and procedures. Leah also assisted in implementing an institution-wide Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) assessment and conducted a comprehensive review of adequacy of director-and-officer (D&O) liability insurance coverage. Leah also oversaw the defense of investigation by United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, into allegedly anticompetitive conduct in health care provider and payor markets in Western Pennsylvania.

Leah has a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.

Leah J. Domitrovic studied Government and International Relations at the University of Notre Dame before going on to The Law School of the University of Chicago to earn their Juris Doctor.
