Jillian McKernan-Walley

Jillian McKernan-Walley serves as the Director of the Center for Career Excellence at St. Lawrence University, a position held since July 2011, where vision and strategic direction are developed to enhance career preparation for students and young alumni. Previously, Jillian held various roles in career services and university advancement, including Senior Associate Director for Laurentian Connections and Associate Director of the Office of Laurentian Engagement, focusing on career programming and alumni engagement. Prior experience includes Coordinating Pre-Student Teaching at SUNY Potsdam and serving as Director of the Career Office at Binghamton University, where high-profile events were coordinated to connect students with employers. Educational credentials include an M.A. in Counseling from Binghamton University and a B.A. in History and Philosophy from St. Lawrence University.
