John Christopher

John Christopher serves as Vice President and General Counsel at St. Lawrence University since September 2022. Prior to this role, John held the same title at Monmouth University from August 2015 to March 2023, leading a team responsible for various university operations and providing counsel to the Board of Trustees and other university leaders. John has extensive experience acquired over 25 years at Hodgson Russ LLP, where John was a Partner and Practice Group Leader, specializing in Labor & Employment Law and serving higher education institutions. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Analysis from Hamilton College and a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law.
