Sondra Proctor has extensive experience in music education and performance, currently serving as Musician-in-Residence at St. Lawrence University since September 2008, where responsibilities include performing on the pipe organ for significant university events and conducting various choruses. Proctor's previous role as Organist at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts spanned from 1971 to 2014, with ongoing annual performances for the Messiah Sing-a-Long. Additionally, as Director of Music and Arts at Westmoreland Congregational UCC from 1976 to 2003, Proctor conducted multiple choirs and oversaw a concert series and a Community Arts Program. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education in Music and Psychology from American University, along with studies at Union Theological Seminary.
