Kan Whye Tan

Kan Whye Tan has a strong background in defense and logistics. Kan Whye began their career in 2011 as the Chief Supply Officer for the Singapore Armed Forces, where they served until 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they worked for the Ministry of Defence of Singapore as the Head of the Joint Logistics Department. In 2017, they joined ST Logistics as the SVP of the Defence Vertical, and in 2019, they were promoted to President of the Defence Business.

Kan Whye Tan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering from The University of Manchester from 1989 to 1991. Kan Whye later pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a major in Logistics from the National University of Singapore, which they completed from 2007 to 2008.
