LaToya Daughrity has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. LaToya started their career as a Registered Nurse at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2000, where they worked until 2002. LaToya then moved on to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, where they worked as a Registered Nurse from 2003 to 2008. In 2008, they joined St. Louis Children's Hospital as a Registered Nurse, and progressively worked their way up to the position of Assistant Nurse Manager in 2011 and Registered Nurse Manager in 2014. Their most recent role at St. Louis Children's Hospital is Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a position they have held since December 2019.
LaToya Daughrity completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Sociology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 1995. LaToya further pursued a degree in nursing and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing from RUSH University in 1997. In 2016, they obtained a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Webster University.
