Jennifer Baumann (Lederle) serves as the Associate County Counselor and Administrative Law Manager for St. Louis County since January 2021, overseeing a labor and employment team involved in union negotiations, progressive discipline, and EEOC complaints, among other responsibilities. Prior to this role, Jennifer was the Chief Legal Operations Officer at the Missouri Office of the Attorney General from August 2017 to November 2020, having been promoted from Chief Counsel-Litigation in August 2019. Jennifer's career includes significant experience as Counsel in the Litigation Practice Group at Thompson Coburn from September 2002 to August 2017, and judicial internships at the Missouri Supreme Court and Missouri Court of Appeals in 2001. Jennifer holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication from Truman State University.
