Navjot Atwal

Navjot Atwal is a skilled Geographic Information Systems (GIS) professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the GIS Coordinator for St. Louis County since August 2017, Navjot provides GIS mapping and database support for emergency communication systems. Previously, Navjot worked as a GIS Consultant and GIS Research Analyst at the Institute for Children, Poverty, and Homelessness, contributing to the development of web maps and providing technical consulting on regional and national projects. Early career roles included positions as a GIS Research Specialist at the Maryland Department of Planning and a GIS Technician II at Sanborn. Navjot holds a Master’s degree in GIS from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and additional degrees in Geography from Panjab University.
