Elaine Cha is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in community engagement and storytelling. Currently serving as the Host/Producer of “St. Louis on the Air” at St. Louis Public Radio since November 2022, Elaine has held multiple roles in various organizations, including Senior Manager of External Communications and Storyteller/Journalist at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri. Elaine's background includes independent work as a community engagement content producer and multimedia journalist, as well as serving on the storytelling team at Forward Through Ferguson, focusing on regional change. Prior experience encompasses roles at Impact Media Partners, The Nine Network of Public Media, and Southern California Public Radio, where Elaine contributed significantly to community-focused programming and outreach. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature/Writing from UC San Diego.
