Jonathan Ahl

Jonathan Ahl is an experienced journalist and educator with a strong background in public radio. Currently serving as Newscast Editor and Rolla Correspondent for St. Louis Public Radio since November 2018, Jonathan oversees newscasts, edits various news segments, and covers local issues in Rolla. Previous roles include General Manager at Tri States Public Radio, where Jonathan managed operations and strategic initiatives, and News Director at both Iowa Public Radio and WCBU, responsible for all news content and staff management. Jonathan also has teaching experience as an Adjunct Instructor in Broadcasting and Journalism at Western Illinois University. Jonathan holds a Master of Arts in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois Springfield and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition from Western Illinois University.
