Maria A. Ellis

Maria A. Ellis is a seasoned music educator and conductor with extensive experience in the music industry. Currently, Maria serves as the owner of Girl Conductor LLC, providing music professional development courses and resources. Additionally, Maria is a radio broadcaster for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and a radio host for Classic 107.3, where the show "Bach and Beyoncé" explores the relevance of various music genres in education. As the Artistic Director at The Sheldon, Maria leads high school chorus auditions and previously held roles as Community Engagement Manager and Coordinator at The St. Louis Children's Choirs. Maria's background also includes positions in customer service and sales with YP and AT&T. Academically, Maria is pursuing a Master of Arts in Choral Conducting at Webster University, following a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
