Marissa J. Berger

Marissa J. Berger, GSP, currently serves as Safety Manager and previously held the position of Safety Specialist at St. Luke's Duluth, MN, since May 2018. Prior experience includes serving as Safety and Health Officer at Lake Superior College, where responsibility entailed coordinating an environmental health and safety program across four campuses and leading emergency response efforts. Marissa's background also includes roles as a Safety Specialist at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare and an Environmental Health and Safety Intern at St. Luke's. Additional experience encompasses administrative roles at Grandma's Saloon and Grill and customer service as a server, alongside volunteer work with United Way of Duluth. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety and a Bachelor’s Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, both from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
