Steven Lindauer is an experienced educator and laser engineer with a diverse background in teaching and technology. Since June 2014, Steven has been a Math & Engineering Teacher at St. Luke's Lutheran Church and School. Prior to this role, Steven taught as an Adjunct Professor at Valencia College from August 2011 to June 2014, focusing on Electrical Engineering Technology courses at Wekiva High School. From August 2007 to June 2014, Steven was a teacher at Orange County Public Schools, initially serving as a science lab teacher for grades K-5 before leading the Laser Photonics Academy Magnet program at Wekiva High School. Earlier professional experience includes roles as a Laser Engineer at Northrop Grumman Laser Systems and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, contributing to significant projects such as the Mercury Laser Altimeter for the MESSENGER spacecraft. Steven holds a Master of Science in Optics/Optical Sciences from the University of Central Florida, a Minister of Religion - Commissioned degree from Concordia University Texas, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the College of Charleston.
