Anna Newsom

Anna Newsom is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Providence since April 2022. With a robust background in law, Anna held several key positions at Travelers from July 2013 to March 2022, including Group General Counsel and Vice President of the Strategic Resolution Group. Prior to that, Anna was a Non-Equity Partner at Mendes & Mount LLP from September 2000 to June 2013 and served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney's Office from September 1997 to August 2000. Anna earned a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fordham University, showcasing a well-rounded educational foundation with early schooling at Bahrain Middle/High School and Marymount School of New York.
