Jay Mattingly has extensive experience in emergency services and municipal governance. Currently serving as Administrative Manager at St. Mary’s County Department of Emergency Services since July 2018, Jay oversees training programs, manages certifications, and supervises Communications Training Officers. Involvement with the Maryland Municipal League includes serving as District Vice President on the Board of Directors and participating in various committees to support municipal government initiatives. Jay also holds the position of Commissioner for the Commissioners of Leonardtown and previously worked as a Shift Supervisor for 9-1-1 Dispatch at St. Mary's County Government. Educational background includes attendance at the Academy for Excellence in Local Governance and the College of Southern Maryland.
