Ros Casey

Ms Ros Casey was appointed to the position of Director of Advancement at St Michael’s in April 2019. In her role, Ros works closely with members of the extended community to create philanthropic connections that will make possible the very best learning environment and experiences for all students, now and into the future.

Ros’ work has always involved strategic and stakeholder management, project management, community relations and culture change.

Ros is an experienced senior manager who spent more than 10 years at Victoria University (VU) as Director of Advancement. In this role she was responsible for the University’s philanthropic, sponsorship and alumni relations programs, and established a strategic fundraising program to support key university activities. Prior to joining VU, Ros worked as a consultant to the Prime Minister’s Community Business Partnership where she developed an extensive community business partnership program.

Ros has also worked with the Secretariat to the National Council for the Centenary of Federation, the Institution of Engineers, Australia and the Australian War Memorial.

Ros has a strong interest in the performing arts and sport and is a Board member of AFL Cape York House Foundation and the Early Learning Association of Australia.
