Beverly Bulmer

Bev Bulmer became St. Michael’s VP of Education in 2016 and the first person with a health discipline background to hold the role at a Toronto academic institution. Bev is a Physical Therapist with a B.Sc. in Physical Therapy and a M.Sc. in Community Health, both from the University of Toronto. Bev started her clinical career at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, moving to St. Michael’s Hospital Mobility program in 2006. She held the role of Director of Health Disciplines Practice and Education prior to this role. In the director role, she gained a strong understanding of the practice and education issues that affect health-care providers.

She is a lecturer in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Bev is committed to a collaborative and scholarly approach to education for all learners that supports excellent patient care and outcomes.
