Mio Kataoka

Mio Kataoka has extensive work experience in documentation and education roles. Mio started their career at Convio, Inc. in 2006 as a Lead Education Specialist, where they led the Client Education Team and developed learning solutions for clients, internal staff, and authorized solution providers. At Blackbaud, they continued their role as a Lead Education Specialist and was responsible for team management and content production. In 2012, Convio was acquired by Blackbaud, and Mio joined AppDynamics as the Education & Operations Manager. There, they defined training strategies and implemented tools and processes for efficient production systems. Since 2016, they have been working at Moogsoft as the VP of Documentation and Education, overseeing product documentation and training. Mio has focused on architecting the technical information structure, driving product adoption, and creating various educational resources. Mio's work experience demonstrates their expertise in designing and delivering learning solutions and their ability to lead teams effectively.

Mio Kataoka has a Master's Degree in Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University. Before that, they obtained an MA in English from Old Dominion University. Additionally, Mio has obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from APMG-International in February 2016 and the UC Berkeley Leadership Accelerator certification from UC Berkeley Extension in July 2015.
