Filippo Bonaccorso

Filippo Bonaccorso is an experienced professional currently serving as an Application Team Leader at STMicroelectronics since October 2014, specializing in innovative energy management solutions with a focus on Battery Management Systems and embedded systems power distribution. Previously, Filippo held the position of Senior Application Engineer, leading developments in Battery Management Systems and USB Type-C & Power Delivery. Prior academic roles include Postdoctoral positions at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, concentrating on intelligent actuation with Shape Memory Alloys, and at the University of Catania, focusing on robot modeling and control methodologies. Filippo holds a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the Università di Catania, as well as a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering from the same institution.
