Ruggero Susella

Ruggero Susella is a highly experienced professional in the field of security, currently serving as the SRA Security Roadmap Manager and Security Expert and Team Leader at STMicroelectronics since July 2008. Ruggero has significantly contributed to the security of various products, including microcontrollers, PLC/BT modems, and automotive systems, focusing on security architecture definition, advanced hardware and software cryptographic solutions, and developing countermeasures against side channel and fault attacks. Prior to this role, Ruggero worked as a Security Engineer at STMicroelectronics from May 2007 to April 2008, where responsibilities included maintaining a software cryptographic library for embedded systems and conducting research on cryptography side channel attacks. Ruggero holds a degree from Politecnico di Milano, attained between 2001 and 2007, and completed secondary education at Liceo Scientifico Statale Alessandro Volta Milano.
