Claire Tuffin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Claire started their career at Brighton and Hove City Council in 1999, holding various roles such as Performance and Accountability Advisor, Standards and Complaints Officer, and Standard and Complaints Manager (Acting). Claire also had a secondment as a Scrutiny Support Officer. In 2003, they became a Supporting People Reviewing Officer and later a Supporting People Manager.
In 2006, Claire joined Broadway homelessness and support as a Service Improvement Manager and later became a Quality and Governance Manager. Claire then moved to St Mungo's in 2014 as the Head of Business Excellence before being promoted to Deputy Executive Director of Strategy and Policy in 2016.
Claire Tuffin completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science and Government from the University of Sussex from 1994 to 1997. Claire later pursued a Master of Science in Coaching from the University of East London between 2010 and 2012.
