Dan Rooney is an accomplished professional in community engagement and educational programming with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Community Engagement Specialist at SitelogIQ since December 2022, Dan works to enhance connections between educational institutions and communities in the Midwest. A history educator and tour guide at the Minnesota Historical Society since June 2003, Dan simultaneously contributes as an entertainer for the St. Paul Saints. Previous roles include Program Manager at Ampact, Public Programs Manager at Hennepin History Museum, Senior Manager at Wells Fargo, and Community Manager at Regus, all of which showcase expertise in program development and community outreach. Dan's early career included founding McRooney Entertainment, where significant educational programs were delivered, and a performing stint with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum + Bailey Circus. Dan Rooney holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Miami University.

The St. Paul Saints are a professional baseball team based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Saints are in their second season as the Triple-A affiliate for the Minnesota Twins. Founded in 1993, today's Saints were a Northern League team through 2005. In 2006 the team was a founding member of the modern American Association. The majority owner is Marvin Goldklang who also owns a stake in five other minor league baseball teams throughout the country (Fort Myers Miracle, Sioux Falls Canaries, Hudson Valley Renegades, Charleston RiverDogs and Brockton Rox).
