Charles L. Covington

Fr. Larry Covington has been pastor at St. Theresa parish since 2014. A native of College Station, Texas, Fr. Larry graduated from Saint Meinrad School of Theology in Indiana in 1985. During his career in the Austin Diocese, he has served as parochial vicar at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Austin (85-88), chaplain of the Catholic Student Center at Texas State University, interim pastor in Pflugerville and Pastor of St. Mary’s Mexia. In 1992 he was assigned pastor of St. Louis, King of France Catholic Church in Austin, a position he held until 2014 when assigned Pastor of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Austin. Fr. Larry has a wide scope of interests including reading, ecumenical and interfaith activities, music composition and enjoying good friends.
