Michael Coakley

Michael Coakley serves as the Chief Information Officer for the City of White Plains, New York, since November 2011. Coakley holds adjunct professor positions at multiple institutions, including Columbia University, Tulane University, Pace University, St. Thomas Aquinas College, Dominican College, and Iona College, teaching and developing various graduate and undergraduate courses in applied analytics, information technology, computer science, and cybersecurity. Previous experience includes a role as Director of Solutions Development and Delivery at Hearst Magazines from 2008 to 2011. Coakley earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Pace University, an MS in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts from Marist University.
