Gabriela Diaz

Gabriela Diaz is an experienced dance instructor and educator with a focus on cultural dance and emotional understanding. Currently serving as a Dance Instructor at St. Thomas More Catholic School since August 2021, Gabriela introduces students to Mexican cultural dance through choreography and historical context. In addition, Gabriela has held the position of SELF Teacher, guiding children in emotional expression and interpersonal communication. Previously, Gabriela was a Dance Instructor at Ballet Folklórico Yolotzín from August 2019 to September 2021, where workshops were organized to teach students about Mexican culture in collaboration with established dance instructors. Additionally, Gabriela gained experience as a Cashier at Menards and as a Research Assistant at Mid-America Psychological & Counseling Services P.C., contributing to the revision of the ACE's questionnaire. Gabriela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University Northwest, earned in 2021.
