Jennifer de Lima is an experienced educator and language specialist with a focus on teaching English as a Second Language and Spanish. Currently serving as an English Second Language Teacher at Alamance-Burlington School System since August 2024, Jennifer has also dedicated over a decade to Immersion Island, LLC, where language immersion experiences are provided for kids and adults. Previous roles include serving as a Middle School Spanish Teacher and Hispanic Liaison at Saint Thomas More Catholic School, a Spanish Interpreter at UNC Health Care, and a Spanish and ESL Teacher at Chapel Hill/Carrboro City Schools. Jennifer's leadership capabilities are demonstrated through board membership with ISLA Chapel Hill and past experience as Director/Owner of International Enterprise Services, a consulting company in Mexico. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature and Language from UC Irvine.
