The St Vincent de Paul Society has been helping Queenslanders in need since 1894.

Everyday, the Society's 9,937 members and volunteers help those who are struggling to take control of their lives whilst restoring their dignity; providing a hand up, not just a hand out. 

The Society differs from most charitable organisations in that our members, known as Vincentians, and volunteers are the core of our work. 

Members and volunteers are supported by some staff; however costs are kept to a minimum, meaning more money goes directly to those who are requiring the Society's assistance.

The Society's assistance is only possible by the generosity and compassion of our supporters. Together we can make a difference to many lives.

The Information Technology Team at Vinnies QLD is responsible for managing and enhancing the technological infrastructure that supports the Society’s operations. This team ensures the efficient integration of IT applications, oversees project management to implement new technologies, and provides technical support to volunteers and members, enabling them to deliver vital assistance to those in need. Their work plays a crucial role in maximizing the impact of Vinnies QLD's charitable efforts.
