Joie Siegrist

Joie Siegrist was elected to her first four-year term on the Board of Education in November of 2015 after being appointed to the Board on February 22, 2012. She currently serves as the Board’s Vice President. Joie serves on the Northern Colorado Worker’s Compensation Self-Insurance Pool Board, the District Finance and Audit Committee and is the Board liaison to the Lyons Board of Trustees and the Boulder County Commissioners. She has also served as a Board liaison to the School-to-Work Partnership, the High School Student Advisory Council, the CBOCES Board of Directors, LiveWell Longmont and Channel 8 Cable Trust Board.

Joie has lived in Longmont for 45 years and graduated from Longmont High School. She and her husband have three children who attend St. Vrain Valley Schools. Joie is a graduate of Colorado State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences.

Joie has supported St. Vrain schools for many years. She has served as a volunteer, PTO president, participant in Leadership St. Vrain, member of Grassroots St. Vrain, and on school accountability committees. She supports the principle that excellent schools reinforce the foundation of vibrant communities. Joie believes in focusing on what is best for students and their educational success by offering world class programming for a variety of learning opportunities.
