Lu Tian

Lu Tian is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry and drug delivery systems, currently serving as Senior Director and LNP platform lead at WuXi STA since October 2019. Prior experience includes founding InnovForm Therapeutics LLC, where novel nanoformulations were developed to create affordable therapeutic agents from May 2013 to October 2019. Lu Tian also held senior scientist positions at Merck and Abbott Laboratories, focusing on nanoparticle delivery for RNAi therapeutics and siRNA delivery, respectively. Earlier career stages included a PostDoctoral Fellowship at MIT, working on chemical engineering and nanotechnology, and a Graduate Researcher role at Rutgers University, where research centered on amphiphilic macromolecular materials for drug delivery. Lu Tian earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Rutgers University and a BS in Chemistry from Peking University.
