Keith Holliday

Keith Holliday is the current Chief Technology Officer at STAAR Surgical. Keith has over fifteen years of experience in the medical device industry, specializing in product development, data analysis, and product modeling. Keith Holliday has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.

Keith started their career at Advanced Medical Optics as the Director of Laser Technology. In this role, they were responsible for the development and commercialization of several laser-based products for the ophthalmology market. Keith then joined ReVision Optics as Vice President of Research and Development. Keith was responsible for managing the development of a corneal inlay to improve the near vision of presbyopes. Keith oversaw all aspects of inlay and delivery device design, conducted overseas clinical trials, analyzed data, and developed optical and physical models of the product. Keith also managed the company's intellectual property portfolio.

Keith Holliday is a highly-skilled engineer with a proven track record of successful product development. Keith is a creative problem solver who is able to see the big picture and develop strategies to achieve objectives. Keith is an excellent communicator and has a strong understanding of the business side of the medical device industry.

Keith Holliday completed a Ph.D. in laser physics at The Australian National University, a B.Sc. (1st class honours) in physics and electronics at University of St Andrews, and an exchange at UC Santa Barbara.

They are on a team with Samuel J. Gesten - Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, Graydon Hansen - Senior Vice President, Global Operations, and Philippe Subrin - Vice President, Collamer Lens Manufacturing and General Manager, Nidau Operations. Keith Holliday reports to Caren Mason, President & CEO.
