Scott Barnes

Scott Barnes is a Chief Medical Officer at STAAR Surgical since October 2017. Prior to that, Scott served as a Colonel in the US Army from May 1987 to September 2017, with 26 years active duty and 4 years in the reserves. Scott is Airborne and Military Free Fall qualified, Navy SCUBA qualified, a Flight Surgeon, Diving Medical Officer, SERE-C trained, and EFMB honor graduate. Scott holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Harvard Medical School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wheaton College.
