Chevon Phagu is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Cost Controller at Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V since August 2022. Prior to this role, Chevon was a Junior Administrative Employee in the Finance Department at N.V. VSH TRANSPORT, focusing on accounts receivable from November 2020 to August 2022. Chevon’s career began at the Ministry of Finance as a Policy Officer in the Department of Economic Affairs, and included a student internship in Internal Control at Firgos Suriname N.V. Chevon also has experience as an Administrative Assistant at the Central Bank of Suriname. Chevon holds a Master of Science in International Business Administration from Marconi International University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Anton de Kom University of Suriname, complemented by a VWO Diploma from Ewald P. Meyer Lyceum.
