Dan Schmidt currently serves as the Executive Director at Stac since March 2025. Prior to this role, Dan held the position of Director of Supply Chain Engineering at Rivian from October 2023 to March 2025. Dan's extensive experience includes serving as the Director of Advanced Engineering, PM, and Plant Launch at Foxconn EV Systems LLC, as well as Director of Propulsion and Plant Launch Director at Lordstown Motors Corporation. Dan has also worked at Nissan Motor Corporation in various senior management roles related to logistics and material handling from September 2012 to March 2021. Earlier career moves included positions at Volkswagen Group in logistics and material flow planning, along with roles at Toyota Motor Manufacturing as Group Leader and Pilot Planner.
