Ida Vainionpää

Chief Operating Officer at STACC

Ida Vainionpää has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as the Chief Operating Officer at STACC. In this position, they oversee the development of "The STACC Experience" program, which helps young IT professionals succeed in their new workplaces through education, mentorship, and social activities. Ida also completed a master thesis on usability factors for event platform users at Confetti, where they conducted usability studies and proposed UX design improvements. During their Internship at TriOptima in 2016, Ida focused on user experience in file uploading, while their summer internship in 2015 involved programming and interaction design tasks for the team's product.

Earlier in their career, Ida worked as the travel manager at Studs, where they planned and managed an 18 day trip for 28 students to the US. Additionally, they served as the project leader for the Computer Science chapter's reception at Konglig Datasektionen. Their responsibilities included creating and managing a project team, recruiting staff, budgeting, and planning and executing a five-week reception with various events.

Finally, Ida gained experience as a substitute dance instructor at Scenskolan Fejm & Kulturama. Overall, Ida Vainionpää has had a diverse background with experience in various industries, including technology, film, performing arts, and event planning.

Ida Vainionpää began their education in 2002 at Scenskolan Fejm, where they studied dance, song, theatre, musicals, and stage presence. Ida completed their studies there in 2012. In 2007, they enrolled at Tullinge Gymnasium and pursued medicine through an extended program. Ida completed this program in 2010. In 2006, they attended Ledarskola, focusing on leadership strategies. Ida then pursued their higher education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. From 2010 to 2017, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, from 2014 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at the same institution.
