Jon Bonte

Jon Bonte is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in advancing technology for autonomous vehicles and complex systems. Currently serving as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Stack AV, Jon leads the development of innovative solutions for L4 autonomous trucking. Previously, as Head of In-Vehicle Compute at Latitude AI, Jon oversaw the design of next-generation computing platforms for Ford vehicles. At Argo AI, Jon managed teams focused on autonomous vehicle compute systems and architecture, partnering with Ford and Volkswagen. Jon's background includes significant roles at Plexus Corp., where Jon led design teams for medical devices and aerospace technologies, and Rockwell Collins, where Jon worked on embedded software for the Airbus A350XWB. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and has studied at Czech Technical University in Prague.
