Marwan Shafo, P.Eng

Marwan Shafo, P.Eng has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Marwan is currently working as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager at StackTeck Systems Ltd. since October 2021. Prior to this, Marwan was a Continuing Education Instructor at George Brown College starting from September 2020. From May 2020 to October 2021, they served as an Engineering Project Manager at Korex Corporation. Marwan also worked at Mold-Masters Limited as a Product Development Engineer (R&D Projects) from October 2017 to May 2020, where they were involved in designing hot-runner systems, developing injection molding applications, and conducting design analysis and testing. Before that, they worked as an Engineer/Mechanical Designer at CCP Engineering from October 2016 to October 2017, where they focused on reverse engineering of machinery, conducting risk assessments, and designing machine safety guards. Marwan started their career at Lynch Fluid Controls Inc. in May 2012 as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, where they were responsible for designing hydraulic components, programming industrial robots, and assisting in automated cell design. Additionally, Marwan had a role in Prinex Media Inc. as a Project Manager/Mechanical Designer (Contract) from September 2011 to October 2015, working on project development from initial design to marketing. Marwan began their engineering journey as a CNC Machinist at Devonshire Manufacturing Group, Inc. from May 2010 to September 2011.

Marwan Shafo, P.Eng has an extensive education history in the field of engineering. Marwan began their educational journey at Humber College, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a focus on Mechanical Design and Manufacturing. Marwan attended Humber College from 2008 to 2011.

After completing their degree at Humber College, Marwan went on to further enhance their engineering knowledge at Ryerson University. Marwan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree from Ryerson University in 2016. Marwan'sfield of study was Mechanical Engineering, with a specialization in Mechatronics.

In addition to their academic achievements, Marwan has also obtained multiple certifications relevant to their field. Marwan earned the certification of Professional Engineer (P.Eng) from the Professional Engineers Ontario in June 2020. Prior to that, they attained certifications in Efficient Mold Setting, Hot Runner, and Injection Molding Fundamentals from the Paulson Training Programs, Inc. in March 2018. Furthermore, Marwan obtained the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate certification from CSWA in December 2016.
