Ben van Looveren

Ben Van Looveren is an experienced interim and project manager at BVL ENGINEERING, specializing in operations management and energy, with a focus on green energy and regulatory affairs. As the director and co-founder of Agrogas, Ben oversees a biogas plant providing energy to approximately 10,000 households. Ben serves as a city council member for Stad Geel and holds significant positions in various boards, contributing to social housing and renewable energy projects in the community. Previous roles include operations manager at E.ON Benelux's Langerlo Power Plant, where Ben managed operations and logistics, and president of KSA Berkven, a local youth movement. Ben holds a Master’s degree in Energy from KU Leuven and a degree in Electromechanics with an option in automation from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen.
