Rob Testelmans

Rob Testelmans is an experienced professional currently serving as an Expert Evaluator for the European Commission since December 2022, where responsibilities include assessing research project proposals under Horizon Europe. As a Board Member at CIDSS since January 2020, Rob contributes to an innovation cluster focused on security collaboration. Rob has held various roles at Stad Geel since September 2005, including Policy Advisor for Safety and Security and Head of General Management, overseeing policy preparation related to local safety and security matters. Additional experience includes a marketing role at FOS&S and an internship with the United Nations. Rob holds multiple degrees, including a postgraduate degree in Disaster Management from the University of Antwerp and a Master’s in Communication Sciences from KU Leuven.
