Freija de Smet

Freija De Smet has extensive experience in interim management and organizational development, currently serving as Directeur Interim Management at Stad Gent since October 2015, where tasks include crisis management and leading reorganizations. Previously, Freija worked at Vlaamse Overheid from 1999 to September 2015 as Adviseur Organisatieontwikkeling, focusing on strategic projects such as reorganizations and innovative work organization. Early career experience includes a role as Uitzendconsulente at Interlabor Interim from 1997 to 1999. Freija holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Ghent University and has pursued additional education in coaching and organizational development from various institutions.
