Nicole Van Doninck possesses extensive experience in smart mobility and urban planning. Currently serving as Kabinetschef and Inhoudelijk medewerker for Stad Hasselt since March 2019, Nicole previously took a sabbatical from May 2018 to March 2019. From October 2016 to May 2018, Nicole was the Manager of Smart Mobility at Antwerp Management School, where the focus was on developing knowledge through various projects. Prior experience includes serving as Manager R&D at the Vlaams Instituut voor Mobiliteit from May 2007 to September 2016, overseeing innovative projects in sustainable mobility. Nicole's career began at Dynamic Engineering as Project Manager for acoustics and sound management, and continued at Tractebel Engineering and Cauberg&Verbeemen in similar roles. Academically, Nicole holds a Master's degree in Physics from KU Leuven and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Economics from Hasselt University.
