Benny Lievens

Benny Lievens is an experienced professional in the field of telecommunications and public works, currently serving as the Head of Public Works and Mobility at Stad Lommel since April 2022. Prior to this, Benny held the position of Project Manager at ENGIE Fabricom Belgium, managing projects in the telecom sector from July 2016 to April 2022. Benny’s earlier roles include Team Lead Operations and Monitoring at DLL, where management encompassed operations, database administrators, monitoring, and development teams. Benny also contributed to T-Mobile as Manager of Core Network Operations, overseeing circuit switched operations and roaming services. Benny's career began at Siemens Atea as an engineer and software engineer. Benny holds an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from KHIK Geel, earned between 1989 and 1994.
