Pieter Cox

Pieter Cox has extensive experience in environmental project management and community engagement, currently serving as Project Leader for the Kempen region at Bosgroep Zuid Nederland since February 2015. In addition, Pieter holds multiple roles within local governance and environmental organizations, including Municipal Councilor and Environmental Councilor for Stad Lommel, and board member positions with Natuurpunt Lommel, Vlinderwerkgroep Hesperia, and Vogelwerkgroep Noord-Limburg. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Agriculture and Horticulture from KU Leuven, specialized training as a recognized nature guide, and a professional bachelor’s degree in Agro- and Biotechnology. Pieter's past roles include research positions at PXL Bio-Research and Hasselt University, and internship experience at the Agentschap voor Natuur en Bos.
