Dirk Welsch has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dirk started their career at Pfizer in 2007 as a Management Trainee and later served as a Supervisor for Packaging Operations. In 2009, they became the Manager and Teamleader for QA Stability and Site Compliance.
In 2011, Dirk joined STADA Group as the Manager for Document-Management-System. Dirk gradually progressed to become the Senior Manager of Corp. QA Systems in 2012 and then the Head of Corp. QA Compliance in 2018. Dirk briefly served as the Director of Corp. QA Compliance before assuming their current role as the Director of Global Quality Supplier Management & Auditing since June 2019.
Dirk Welsch obtained a State Examination degree in Pharmacy from The University of Freiburg in the years 1996 to 2001. Dirk then pursued further education at the University of Düsseldorf, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry from 2002 to 2006.
