Gerco van der Wal

Gerco van der Wal is an experienced audio professional currently serving as a Technicus at Stadsschouwburg Utrecht since September 2020. As the owner of Staircase Productions since 2016, Gerco specializes in various audio and production services, including studio recording, live sound engineering, and audio mixing. Previous roles include Technicus at Koninklijke Schouwburg Events and CineCityXL, Sound Engineer at Audio Gerkizo, and internships at Gebouw-T and Flint. Gerco also gained early experience as an Inspiciënt with Rick Engelkes Producties on the musical *Kruimeltje*. Educational qualifications include a degree in Studio Engineering from Volversound Academy and training as a Sound Technician from HZ University of Applied Sciences and Zoomvliet College.
