Karin Niemeyer

Karin Niemeyer is a highly experienced communication professional with a background in journalism and public relations. Currently serving as Redaktionsleiterin Online-Kommunikation at Stadt Dortmund since September 2021, Karin has previously held the position of Leiterin Marketing/Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit at Berufsförderungswerk Dortmund from March 2019 to September 2021. Prior to that, a significant tenure at WDR as Journalistin/Moderatorin spanned nearly three decades from September 1990 to March 2019. Karin's career began as Redakteurin Landespolitik at Lensing Media from April 1988 to August 1990. Academically, Karin holds a Diplom in Journalistik and Politikwissenschaften from TU Dortmund University, completed in December 1994.
