Bettina Emmerling currently serves as Vizebürgermeisterin and amtsführende Stadträtin at Stadt Wien, focusing on education, youth, integration, and transparency since November 2020. Additionally, Emmerling is the Klubvorsitzende of the NEOS Wien Rathausklub, holding a position in the Vienna City Council and Parliament from November 2015 to March 2025, where responsibilities included transport, environment, animal protection, agriculture, and women's issues. Prior to these roles, Emmerling worked as a Project Manager at the Österreichische Energieagentur from May 2005 to October 2020, specializing in mobility and transport. Emmerling holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from Umweltmanagement Austria (2006-2007) and a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences with a focus on Geography from the University of Graz (1999-2005).
