Ahmed Kamal Ali

Ahmed Kamal Ali has an extensive work experience in the field of product design and user experience. Ahmed is currently working as the Sr. Global Director of Product Design at Staffbase, where they have led the expansion of the UX Research and Design team and played a key role in supporting ARR growth. Prior to that, Ahmed worked as the Director of Product Design at Staffbase, where they grew the product design team and managed design programs that had a significant impact on revenue. Ahmed has also held roles such as Product Design Lead at Staffbase, Advisor to CEO and CPO at Octo, and Principal Product Designer at Architrave GmbH. In their previous positions, Ahmed has demonstrated their ability to lead and grow teams, transform product cultures, and develop design strategies. Ahmed has worked at companies like AirHelp, LIQID, Vodafone, Ingenuity Studio, Canadian Petroleum Services Inc., and has also worked as a freelancer and web designer in the earlier stages of their career.

Ahmed Kamal Ali has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts - Metal Furniture & Steel Constructions from Helwan University Cairo, which they obtained from 2005 to 2011. In 2023, they also completed a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School Online. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Leading for Creativity from IDEO U in 2022, Certificate in Digital Marketing from Squared Online in 2017, and a Certificate of Membership from The Interaction Design Foundation.
