Nathan Gaviola

Nathan Gaviola is a Mechanical Design Engineer currently leading an engineering team at Stafl Systems, focusing on the electromechanical design of a swappable 4.4kWh dirt bike battery pack. Previously, Gaviola worked at Tesla as a Mechanical Design Engineer for high voltage batteries, where responsibilities included designing an injection molded coolant passthrough and simulating seal contact pressure in Ansys. Prior experience includes a role as a Front Desk Representative at Koffman Southern Tier Incubator and an internship at Lucid Motors, where design validation plans for fluid ingress failure modes were developed and tested. Gaviola also served as an Undergraduate Course Assistant at the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science, Binghamton University, where a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Sustainable Engineering was earned.
