Mike Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mike started their career as a Sales Engineer at Stryker in 2003, before transitioning to Schlumberger as a Field Engineer, specializing in MWD/LWD, from 2004 to 2006. Following this, Mike joined Baker Hughes in 2007, where they held various roles including Account Manager, Sales Manager for the South East US, and Sales Manager for the U.S. Land. Their responsibilities included developing strong business relationships, setting strategic goals, and capturing market leader status in the oil and gas industry.

In 2014, Mike moved to W Technology Link as the Vice President of Commercial & Technology, before joining SunDrill Energy Services in 2015 as the Director of Business Development. Here, they developed the company from scratch and sold drilling service solutions to E&P companies.

From 2016 to 2019, Mike worked at Stage 3 Separation/BOS-Solutions, where they held positions such as Executive Sales for the Gulf Coast Region, US Sales Manager, and Senior Sales Manager for North America. During this time, they focused on the oil and gas sector.

In 2019, Mike joined KSW Oilfield Rental, LLC as their Corporate Sales Representative, specializing in the oil and gas industry.

Most recently, Mike Johnston has been working at Stage 3 Separation since 2020, initially as an Executive Sales representative, and currently as the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Mike Johnston earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science from the University of North Dakota, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. In 2011 to 2013, they pursued an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General at Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business. Additionally, in 2023, they obtained a Continuing Education Certificate in Grouting & Ground Improvement from the Colorado School of Mines.
