Ron Bennatan

Advisor at StageOne Ventures

Ron Bennatan is the current advisor at StageOne Ventures. Prior to that, they were the founder and CTO of jSonar from January 2013 to October 2020, when it was acquired by Imperva. Ron Bennatan has also previously worked as a distinguished engineer, VP & CTO for Data Security, Compliance and Optimization at IBM from November 2009 to August 2013. Before IBM, Guardium was acquired by IBM in November 2002 and they remained the founder and CTO until November 2009. Prior to Guardium, Bennatan was the CTO of ViryaNet from August 1998 to November 2002. Misc. was their first job from September 1989 to July 1998 where they were the founder-entity, developer-JPMorgan, developer-Merrill Lynch, developer-Bell Labs, and developer-Intel. Lastly, Bennatan served in the IDF from August 1984 to June 1989 as a developer and researcher.

Ron Bennatan has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Ron also has a degree from renee kasin.
